Pinckney Community Education

Archery Fall 2025 (All equipment is provided, or bring your own)

• Beginner Archery Program (Ages 8 to adult): This program is designed for individuals ages 8 to adult. In this class USA Level 1-3 Certified Coaches will teach basic archery skills and form, how to improve scores, play games, introduce the Junior/Adult Olympic Archery Development Program, and shoot a variety of target types (FITA, NFAA and 3D). 

• Pinckney Pirate Archery JOAD Club: This archery program is designed for individuals interested in continuing archery, and have already had some archery experience. Archers will work on improving shooting technique and scores, play games, earn achievement pins, learn how to prepare for competition, and compete. You must already be a member of USA Archery: sign up at usarchery.org/memberships/becomeamember (choose Pinckney Pirate JOAD). 

• Advanced Pinckney Pirate Archery JOAD Club: This archery program is designed for advanced archers who achieved a black pin award or higher and are currently on the Pinckney Pirate JOAD Club. Throughout the program, archers will work on improving shooting technique and scores, play games, earn achievement pins, prepare for competition, and compete. You must have a USA Archery membership (usarchery.org/memberships/become-a-member).
