Pinckney Community Education

Our highly-qualified teachers use the Orton-Gillingham methodology and all five pillars of literacy plus language comprehension to drive measurable gains for all students. Our programs are located within our elementary schools, Country and Farley Hill, to give our youngest learners exposure to the elementary school setting. In addition, preschool teachers work closely with our K-2 teachers in order to help all students be ready for the next step in their learning, Kindergarten!

Please note: Preferred preschool site is not guaranteed; Little Pirates Preschool staff determines class locations based on enrollment. Assignments will be communicated at the end of the summer.

Age Requirements & Eligibility:

1. Child must be 3 by Dec. 1, 2026 for the 3's programs
2. Child must be 4 by Dec. 1, 2026 for the 4's programs
3. It is highly encouraged that all children in the preschool program are completely toilet trained and are able to independently use the restrooms 

For the Four-Year-Old program: Registration is a two-step process. You must complete the online registration AND the GSRP application.

A doctor-signed health appraisal and current immunization record must be uploaded via this link when registering. If your child has an upcoming well visit, please email khultgren@pinckneypirates.org with the appointment date.

Latchkey is available before and after school for an additional fee.
