Pottery Wheel Throwing (Ages 18+)
Fee includes 25lbs of low fireclay

Discover the art of Wheel Throwing and experience the joy of working with clay! This hands-on class guides you through the fundamentals of throwing, shaping, trimming and glazing your own ceramic pieces. No experience necessary: bring your creativity and be ready to get your hands dirty!

Required: Wheel throwing set (may be purchased through the instructor for $20, or on your own)

Recommended: Wooden knife tool, pin tool, rib tool (wood, metal or plastic), trimming ribbon tools, wire or string, pottery sponge and pottery smock (or bath towel for your lap)
