Yin Yoga style is a practice of passively-held floor-based yoga postures that allow for the deep connective tissues around our joints to have sufficient time to stretch and release tension. Gentle postures are held for a duration of time (3-5min), and a quiet focus is placed on the awareness of relaxing the body through calm conscious breathing. This class will incorporate mindful breathing exercises to assist with calming and grounding the busy mind and overworked nervous system. Bring your own mat and water bottle; additional props encouraged such as block, strap, and small blanket. Instructor: Krystal GodleskyAges 16 and older welcome
