Grandpa's Gizmos

Summer 2025

Grandpa's Gizmos is a hands-on course for adults and motivated teens (13+) with little or no background in microcontrollers, programming or electronics. Using stackable breadboard-friendly modules in a durable case, the course offers over 30 fun and educational projects—games, tools and demos—while diving deep into how each component works. By the end, you’ll be ready to design your own creations. Course includes access to a private online community for materials, support and discussion.

Required: Personal computer to upload software (Windows, Mac and Linux are supported); soldering iron and some simple hand tools (to be discussed at the first class).
